Frequently Asked Questions
General Questions
What is Revolver Studios?
Revolver Studios is a creative lab where humans and machines work together to make digital assets that don’t look like everyone else’s. We mix AI tools with human creativity to create fonts, textures, photography, audio, and more, everything is highly curated, nothing random. Think of it as a store for creatives who are allergic to default.
What type of products can I find at Revolver Studios?
You’ll find a mix of design resources like fonts, textures, photography, audio samples, vectors, video elements, and unique visual effects. Each product is reviewed for quality and originality, so you don’t waste time digging through junk. If it’s in our shop, it’s something we’d actually use ourselves.
How do I purchase products?
Add items to your cart, check out using our secure payment system (we run on Stripe), and you’ll get instant download links. Everything’s mostly digital, so there’s no shipping, no waiting, just grab your files and start creating. Your downloads also stay in your account for future access if you create one. We also have some physical products, these are made to order and shipped directly to you wherever you are.
Can I use these products for commercial purposes?
Yes, most of our products are cleared for both personal and commercial use, branding, client projects, album covers, whatever. We don’t micromanage what you make, but we expect you to follow licensing basics: don’t resell the files as-is or pretend you made them from scratch. Check each product description for any specific notes. Additional licensing information is here.
Do you offer refunds?
Digital products are like knowledge, you can’t unsee them, so refunds generally aren’t a thing. If something is genuinely wrong (like a corrupt file), we’ll fix or replace it. Basically, check twice before you click “buy,” but know we’re not out to scam you either. As for physical products, we do have a Returns & Refund policy here.
How can I stay updated on new products?
You can sign up for our newsletter here, follow our social channels, or just check the site regularly. We drop new assets when they’re ready, not on a corporate schedule, so updates are actually worth paying attention to. Think of it as creative surprises, not spam.
Which payment methods do you take?
We run payments through Stripe, which means you can use most major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other secure methods Stripe supports. No sketchy payment portals, no “send us a cheque”, just fast and safe checkout.
What currency are the products priced with?
All products are listed in U.S. dollars (USD). Your bank or payment provider will handle the conversion if you’re outside the U.S., usually automatically, sometimes they even surprise you with a small fee (that’s on them, not us).
Technical Questions
How do I unzip downloaded files?
Most of our products come packaged in ZIP files for easy downloading. On Mac and Windows, double-click or right-click and select “Extract” to unpack them—no special software required. If you’re on mobile or tablet, use any free unzipping app from your app store. If you buy something from our physical store, well you can’t unzip that can you.
What should I do if something isn’t working for me?
First, make sure you’re using the right software and that it’s up to date. Many issues come from running outdated versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, or audio tools. If it still doesn’t work, send us an email with the problem and any error messages, screenshots help. We’ll troubleshoot it fast. If all else fails shoot us a message to support@revolverstudios.co
What software versions are required to work with files?
It depends on the product. Fonts work anywhere, but templates, textures, and effects may require the latest Adobe apps or software that supports PSD, AI, or SVG files. Each product page includes compatibility notes so you know what you’re getting into before buying.
Where do I report website bugs or developer issues?
Use our contact form or email us directly with a description of the problem or email us at support@revolverstudios.co. Include as much detail as possible (like what browser you’re on or what you clicked right before it broke). We actually like finding bugs, it means we get to make things better.
Customer Account Questions
Do I need an account to purchase from Revolver Studios?
No, you can check out as a guest if you’re allergic to signups. But having an account saves your download history and makes future purchases faster. If you’re planning to grab more than one thing from us, it’s worth the two-minute setup.
How do I sign up for a customer account?
What happens if I forgot my password?
Click the “Forgot Password” link on the login page and follow the instructions, we’ll email you a reset link. If it’s not in your inbox, check your spam folder, because email filters love messing with us. Once reset, you’re good to go.
How do I login to my account?
How do you handle my privacy and personal information?
We treat your data like it’s top-secret, no selling, no creepy tracking, no shady side deals. We only use it to process your orders and keep your account running. You can read the full policy on our site if you’re into legal thrillers.
Artist Account Questions
What is the “Free Artist” program?
It’s our way of opening Revolver Studios to outside creators. You make high-quality work (ideally a mix of human and AI creativity), we handle the selling and payouts, and you keep most of the cash, no signup fees, no nonsense.
Do I need an Artist account to sell on Revolver Studios?
Yes, because that’s how we keep things organized and make sure our marketplace doesn’t turn into a free-for-all. Artist accounts come with additional features like a public profile, product management, and sales reporting.
How do I sign up for an Artist account?
It’s invite only, so head over our “Request Invite” page, fill out the application, and send us some details about your work. We review submissions to make sure quality stays high, if approved, you’ll get an invite to activate your account and start uploading products.
Can I also purchase products with an Artist account?
Yes, your Artist account is also a regular customer account, so you can buy products for your own projects. Many of our sellers also shop for resources—it’s like a creative barter system, but with better accounting.
What is the commission rate for Artists?
You’re going to love this: $1.50 per item sold. That’s it. Not 20%, 40%, or the soul-crushing 60% some platforms take. No sliding scale, no hidden fees, sell it for whatever you want, we only take a buck fifty.
